Washington Pass Rock Climbing

Your alpine playground awaits…

Situated between Marblemount and Mazama, Washington Pass offers some of the highest concentration of quality alpine rock climbing in North America. From entry-level alpine multi-pitch routes, to hard Grade V rock climbs, Washington Pass truly has something for everyone.

Our climbing objectives in the Washington Pass zone are single-day objectives, which means climbers can enjoy the comforts of a bed, shower, and coffee in the nearby village of Mazama before and after their climbing days. With approach times ranging from 1-3 hours, the access to quality alpine rock routes in Washington Pass is reminiscent of European climbing areas, and something less commonly found here in the US.

From classic moderate routes like the Beckey Route on Liberty Bell to more complex routes like the South Buttress of Cutthroat Peak, we’re here to help choose the appropriate route(s) for your alpine rock progression.

Reach out today to build your custom alpine program in this one-of-a-kind mountain playground in the heart of the North Cascades! Trips run June through September.
